About the event
Get ready to take Cub Scouting outdoors! 🌲🏕️ Basic Adult Leader Outdoor Orientation (BALOO) is a one-and-a-half-day training designed for adult leaders who want to bring more camping and outdoor adventures to their Cub Scout Pack.
BALOO combines an online prerequisite through My.Scouting.org with an overnight, hands-on practical training at Camp Ho Non Wah. Leaders will learn BSA's Cub Scout camping policies and gain practical tools and knowledge to help plan and lead successful Pack camping experiences.
⭐ Important: This training is reserved for pack leaders. Completion of BALOO is required for a minimum of one adult attending a Pack overnight. This is a great way to ensure the pack can offer (and follow-through!) on overnight camping trips. Not a leaders yet? Ask the pack how to become one!!
