Hello Pack 742!

For those of you who don’t know me yet, I’m Ben Beasley, and I couldn’t be more excited to be your new Cubmaster!  A little about me: I started my scouting journey back in the mid-90s in the Southeastern Georgia Council, where I earned my Arrow of Light with Pack 68 and crossed over into Troop 12, reaching the rank of Second Class. Life led me in a different direction before I could reach First Class, but in 2021, I jumped back into scouting as a Webelos Den Leader when my two older daughters, Kennedy and Ryanne (both Den Chiefs for our Pack!), were Webelos, and my youngest daughter, Reagann, was a Lion with Pack 795. Fast forward to Fall 2023, our family made the decision to join Pack 742 so Reagann could cross over to Troop 742 with Kennedy and Ryanne. I’m so excited for this new chapter with all of you!

As your new Cubmaster, my goal is simple: I want to get to know each of you and work together to create an unforgettable, fun, and rewarding experience for everyone! Whether you’re a brand-new scout or a seasoned veteran, there’s always something new to discover and exciting challenges ahead! And speaking of excitement, I’m committed to making this program a blast! I’m all about adding fun new experiences and making sure each of you has an amazing time along the way!

One thing that our Committee Chair, Joseph Galipeau, and I are passionate about is creating an environment where everyone feels welcomed, supported, and part of the Pack family. If there’s something you want to learn, or if you have questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out—I’m here for it all!

I hope you’re as pumped as I am to dive into the adventures that lie ahead. Together, we’ll make incredible memories, build lasting friendships, and grow as individuals.
