Awards! We love Awards!....Firetrucks too!

Tonight’s Pack 707 meeting was an exciting and memorable event as we celebrated our theme of Citizenship and the value of being Brave. The highlight of the night was the awards ceremony, where scouts were recognized for their hard work and dedication. The awards handed out represented a culmination of adventures that the scouts completed not only over the summer but also during the first month of the new school year. From outdoor achievements to community service, each scout proudly took home tokens of their progress and growth in scouting.

To top off the evening, we had a surprise visit from Engine 202 and its crew from Station 8! The firefighters shared insights into the importance of citizenship and the role they play in keeping the community safe. The scouts were thrilled to get an up-close look at the fire truck, learning about the tools and equipment firefighters use during emergencies.

The night concluded with a huge group photo in front of the fire truck, and each scout left with an honorary fireman’s hat as a keepsake. It was a fantastic evening full of excitement, learning, and recognition of our scouts' achievements, reinforcing the values of citizenship and bravery in a meaningful way.
