July Pack Hike-Wannamaker Park

Golly, it was HOT today!! After the hike we cooled off in the SPLAAASSSSHHHH PAADDDD!!! We saw many different creatures today including many spiders, dragonflies, a bullfrog, and even a juvenile copperhead and learned some facts about them. Did you know a dragonfly's heart is in a sack filled with fluid because of the drastic maneuvers they make while in flight? If they didn't the G-forces would crush their heart!
