Pack 707 Shines at Webloree 2024

This past weekend, Pack 707 headed to Camp Moultrie for Webloree 2024, where our Webelos and AOL scouts joined forces to form the dynamic Atomic Turtles Patrol! Together, they showcased their exceptional skills, teamwork, and scout spirit, making the most of a weekend filled with adventure and camaraderie.

Throughout the event, the Atomic Turtles participated in activities that tested and developed their abilities, including teamwork exercises, outdoor cooking, knot-tying, and a scenic 2-mile hike through the beautiful surroundings of Camp Moultrie. They also made time for fun and fellowship with games like gaga ball and bocce ball, fostering friendships and creating memories that will last a lifetime.

One of the highlights of the weekend was the cooking competition, where the Atomic Turtles Patrol truly shone! Their creative and delicious dishes earned top honors:

• 1st Place in Breakfast with a mouthwatering stuffed French toast.

  
  

• 3rd Place in Lunch featuring pork and veggie kabobs paired with salmon.

  
  

• 1st Place in Dessert with a decadent apple gingerbread dumpling.

The scouts’ culinary talents and teamwork impressed everyone and demonstrated their outstanding outdoor skills and creativity.

A special shoutout goes to our amazing Den Chiefs—Noelle, Kennedy, and Ryanne—whose leadership and enthusiasm helped guide the scouts and highlighted Pack 707’s unmatched scout spirit. Their dedication played a huge role in making the weekend a resounding success.

While the Atomic Turtles didn’t bring home the flag this time, their scout spirit was second to none, and they made an unforgettable impression on everyone at the event.
